Unless it's tagged with an icc-profile there is no way of finding out what RGB profile is used for an image.
CMYK profiles are easier to guesstimate because you have graybalance, UCR settings and total ink coverage, but none of these exist in an RGB file.

Email preflight report
Hi guys. I need a flow that will send me a preflight report on the resolution of the images in a pdf. I created a PitStop Preflight Profile that creates a preflight report, but when I select to attach files I only get the original pdf file sent to me. Any ideas where I'm going wrong? http://i63.tiny...

Re: Report resolution of images
Thanks melaniec.
I tried the Gather image information, but couldn't get it to work, so I tried to create a preflight report instead and that works perfectly. Now I just need to figure out how to get Switch to email me that report, but that's a question for a different forum...

Report resolution of images
Is there a way of creating an action list or preflight profile that will report the resolution of all images inside of a pdf? I have a customer who sends me pdf files asking if they are good enough for print, so I'm thinking of setting up a switch flow that will generate a report listing the resolut...

No worries sander, some things are so obvious for us to do that we take for granted that others do them as well. Been there and done that a lot...
Thanks for your help though, much appreciated!

Re: SmartStream 12 + Adobe InDesign 2017
Well, in a way it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out that the rip software that needs to be updated in order for the "new" jdf file to work, I mean what are the chances that HP would have the HP DFE JDF Controller create a jdf file that the rip can't process? When it comes to the changes...

Re: SmartStream 12 + Adobe InDesign 2017
I made that change in the jdf and put it in the hotfolder, but it was moved to the error folder and then deleted.
I did however notice that there seems to be a problem with the press at the moment, so I'll try again later.

Re: SmartStream 12 + Adobe InDesign 2017
Great idea sander. This is the jdf-file generated in Switch 13 with the settings from the previous screenshot (I added line breaks and tabs in order to make the file more "readable" for me when trying to figure out what might be causing the problem.) <?xml version="1.0" encoding=...

Re: SmartStream 12 + Adobe InDesign 2017
Sorry for the confusion. The flow works as it should and the jdf and the pdf are put in the correct folders, but it seems like the rip for the Indigo throws an error and removes the jdf-file from the hotfolder. We are yet to figure out what setting we have to change in order to get it working...

Re: SmartStream 12 + Adobe InDesign 2017
So far, so good... Switch 2017 installed without a problem, as did InDesign 2017 and HP SmartStream Designer 12. (I have a Mac running Mac OS X 10.10.5) I did have a few issues until I realized that I had to update the configurators in Help - Manage configurators... After selecting the HP SmartStrea...
