I solved. It was the acrobat colormanagment preferences.
Conversion option was not present into the system.

On two machines with windows 10 Acrobat DC i set the same color setting but now the eyedropper tools close me down Acrobat.

I'm going crazy since my company has decided to check the Total Area Coverage on every single page we print. What i have done is to delete the "Comments.acroplugin" folder

there's no fix for this problem.
The only workaround is to not use output preview with multiple selection of elements in pitstop

if i have the preview output window open and try to select an item with the pitstop selection instrument (arrow), a green comment box will be created
