PowerSwitch 10 -> Assamble Jobs -> Bottleneck?
@dkelly: Great, i'm not the only person noticing that. I've got a sample flow that behaves the way i described and i can't find the cause. I'm nearly sure, this exact flow worked a lot faster with assembling the job before we switched to PowerSwitch 10. Maybe you can have a look at the "assembl...

PowerSwitch 10 -> Assamble Jobs -> Bottleneck?
Hello community, were using PowerSwitch 10 with some existing Workflows that have been working since Switch 8. The Flows weren't changed but somehow i am noticing serious performance issues since whe updated PowerSwitch from version 9 to 10. One thing i noticed is that in a lot of Flows the "bo...

Restore file hierarchy after 'Dismantle Job'
Hello friends, i am trying to achive something, that should be rather easy i guess, but still it is giving me a hard time. I want to pull folders from an ftp, sort out some (XML-) files and afterwards write the rest of the files back to a folder with the same name to another hotfolder. Lets say the ...

Grab Directories from Folder after they are unchanged for a certain time
Ahhh! Good hints!
I think i will stick with option 3 and write a small batch script to monitor the change-date of the folders and just move them to my PowerSwitch input folder afterwards. Sound like the easiest way for a workaround.
Thanks, Dwight (again)!

Grab Directories from Folder after they are unchanged for a certain time
Addition: I've tried using the "Hold Job" function but that did not work out. The function is able to delay the folder transfer for a certain time, BUT Switch adds the Job Ticket Name to the Folder Name as soon as the folder gets scanned. So the folder with is not visible to the user filli...

Grab Directories from Folder after they are unchanged for a certain time
Hi there Switch Users, we're using PowerSwitch 10. We want to create a workflow, that grab folders from a directory. The folder gets filled with files manually, so it would be great if the flow would check, if the folder was not touched for a certain time. Like this: - User creates a Folder "my...

Tranforming XML to XML
Hello dear Switch Users, we are using PowerSwitch 10 here and i am fairly new to the software and its capabilities. I read up that i´m able to use metadata stored in an XML-file in a flow. I am curious if PowerSwitch is able not only to pickup and use the data stored in the XML but also pickup the X...
