Hi Freddy, Thx for your reply. I've verified the DB file and it's OK. Delimiter is the same in DB file and template file and I've tried with semicolon and comma files as well, but it all gives the same error. I simply can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or if there a bug in the software somewhere....

Thx to tz8 I've solved the "Can't open template" issue, but the only output I get is a XML log saying:







The DB file is a plain tab delimited textfile.



Any help will be appreciated.

You should check out HP Smartstream Designer for InDesign. It has a bunch of VDP functionality and you can create much more complex jobs within InDesign rather than just a PDF with forms. Configurators for Switch are available.
