This possibly could be a Pitstop Pro Action via Pitstop Server question, not sure. I need to place a mark 16 pages from the last page of a PDF file. The PDF files will always vary in page count. I'm at a loss as to how to perform this function as it relates to my desired page position within a given PDF file. Anyone have any ideas how best to perform this?

Hi,
this could be achieved using a combination of Switch and PitStop Server. In the Action List used in PitStop Server it is possible to use a variable to select the correct page and next add the mark.
Switch would be used to calculate the correct page number (determining the total number of pages in your PDF and deducting which page is 16 pages before the last one). Switch would than pass on this calculate page number to PitStop Server where the mark is added on the correct page.
If you'd have another way of calculating the correct page number and are able to provide it via an XML file, PitStop Server will read the correct value from that file and execute the Action List accordingly.
