[suggestion] use a different icon for auto-managed folders

Since some flows can get extremely large and have multiple folders (absolute and auto-managed), it would be useful if you could visually differentiate between the two.

If you have a feature request section, I'd be happy to submit it there instead ;)

Hi Alex,

thanks for your feedback, I'll ensure it is seen by the Switch product manager!

If you'd have more ideas or suggestions, we do indeed have a 'Feature request form' on our website. All feedback we receive that way is taken into account and handed over to the product managers.

You can find that form in the Support section of the enfocus.com website, or by using this direct link: http://www.enfocus.com/en/support/reque ... rt-problem

Kind regards,

Carine

While on the subject of improvements, I'd like to see any held connection lines be colored red and support for easier selection of multiple connections to be held/released at once. Either selecting by draw rectangle over connection lines and/or elements to be held/released.

Hello enfocus employees,

it would be also great if Switch Designer would offer the possibility to place (searchable) annotations to connections and flow elements. Sometimes it would be very helpful to write down some detailed explanations or some ideas for further improvements to this part of the flow in the future.

Best regards,

i second all of the above!

And something else i always wished would be in Switch: the possibility to create rectangles in the background to "group" flow elements with a colored box, possibly with a header like "fetch files", "sort&merge", "impose", "to production"... would really help our team to get a quicker overview in complex flows

Keep up the good work!

Thorsten

PS: and i'm not getting tired to ask for a newer JavaScript Version? ;)

building upon the rectangle idea above, I'd like to be able to collapse sections of a flow into a single icon to hide complexity. Also, it would be nice to be able to hide required intermediate folders.

Hi all,

again I would like to thank you for your feedback, all of your suggestions will be added to the list for the Switch product manager to review and prioritize.

May I ask you to report any other suggestions you might have by mailing us at feature@enfocus.com, or by using the form on our website (http://www.enfocus.com/en/support/reque ... rt-problem). The mailbox linked to that address and form are constantly monitored by the Enfocus Support Team so you are assured your suggestions are looked at and processed, while posting them here is not a 100% guarantee they'll end up with the right person.

We also like to notify you by email whenever one of your suggestions made it into a Switch release, this forum doesn't provide us with your email address (even though I know the address of some of you, I don't know it for everybody) which would make it more challenging to inform you.

Thanks for your understanding and looking forward to see more suggestions at feature@enfocus.com!

Kind regards,

Carine
