This is a two part question
Anybody running Acrobat X on Switch 11 Windows OS (currently we are using Acrobat 7 pro)?
If you are, can you run a saved Acrobat Action via Switch like you can with Photoshop Actions?
Thanks

Switch 11 using Actions Created in Acrobat X
Hi,
I have Switch 11 with Acrobat X on Windows 7.
The Acrobat Actions cannot be automated by default from within Switch (the Acrobat Scripting API doesn't provide direct access to that functionality).
However, as you are mentioning Windows specifically, I can refer you to another tool named AutoBatch: "The AutoBatch™ plug-in is an advanced plug-in for Adobe® Acrobat Professional® software. The AutoBatch™ adds a command-line batch file functionality to the Adobe® Acrobat Professional® software. It allows users to execute any existing Acrobat batch sequence (or "action" in Acrobat X) from a command-line batch file and pass custom input/output file or folder paths."
As this tool is command-line based, it can be driven from Switch, which would allow you to include the execution of Acrobat X actions in your Switch flow.
You can find more details on this tool on this page: http://www.evermap.com/autobatch.asp
Hope this helps you?
Kind regards,
Carine
