indesign script error: out of memory

when proceed document with 32 page the script return error: out of memory

the build in Enfocus PowerSwitch 09, update 3 and indesign CS4 or CS5 on

Mac os x server version 10.6.6

processor: 2x 2.4GHz Quad-Core intel xeon

memory: 32 GB 1066 MHz DDR3

what is the probleme?

Although you have 32 GB memory in your Mac, Adobe InDesign is limited to 4 GB of memory - and this will remain the case until Adobe creates a 64-bit version. On top of that, the effective limit is actually much less, because the operating system uses a part of that 4 GB to keep the program's code in memory.

So basically this means that it is quite possible that complex actions on a large file can cause InDesign to go out of memory.

what is the solution for a workflow can support a indesign document with 32 page export to pdf file??

Not sure but maybe Axaio MadeToPrint for InDesign and export single, or groups, of pages. They also have a MadeToPrint Server edition for InDesign Server. You can always download a demo of MTP and see how it goes with single page PDF's.
