Adding JobState as suffix stopped working

Post by gabrielp »

Hi guys,
For some reason, today we noticed that jobs going into a rename (which adds the JobState as a suffix to NameProper) just disappear when going into the Rename element but do not throw an error. They do not go into Problem jobs, they're just gone. No messages at all.

I'm trying to figure out what could be causing this. I made sure the JobState is set and the value for this job is "MG".

I tried restarting the machine (didn't know what else to try) and when doing so, on reboot I noticed this error but it gives no other details and doesn't specify a flow (so it could be unrelated):

After some more testing, it's just this job and Rename. If I pass this job through Rename and change all of the actions to None, it still just disappears after you let it through. No failure, no messages. I have no idea how to troubleshoot this.

Does the incoming job have strange characters in its filename?
Do I understand correctly that this is the standard rename (as in: not a script you wrote yourself)? If so, you should contact enfocus support so they can fix the script.
