Variable data help.

Hello all,
I am trying to create a flow that will add variable data to a file that is run through a Switch flow. I have the HP SmartStream Designer VDP, I am just not too sure how to utilize its abilities. I do not have the Enfocus scripting module. The file I am testing with needs the serial number, in the top right corner, to be incremented by one.
