Thnink of buying switch & pit stop server

Hello,

I m currently think of buying pitstop server and Swicth + configurator but I am not sure if to be mac or pc

We have all of our Adobe and quark programs on mac but we have quite a few impositon software and small programs for changing files we have on PC.

If we install it on the mac could we then run command line programs on the PC, or could you have flows that are based on different environments.

In general the configurators are only able to drive applications, that are installed on the same computer as Switch.

If your imposition-software, and other applications you run, are hotfolder-aware, you could still use Switch to send files to another computer (Mac or PC) and to get the files back into the flow again.
