Hi,
tried to merge PDFs in the right order, but Switch does not sort correct. Tried these filenamen:
a)
0812BER1_01.pdf
0812BER1_02.pdf
...
0812BER1_11.pdf
0812BER1_12.pdf
b)
0812BER_01.pdf
0812BER_02.pdf
...
0812BER_11.pdf
0812BER_12.pdf
c)
BER_01.pdf
BER_02.pdf
...
BER_11.pdf
BER_12.pdf
Seems to be a simple job, according the documentation it should work. Could someone eplain, why it fails?
Thanks and kind regards,
Jörg
##update##
It seems this is caused by the content of the PDFs. When i use other PDFs with same filenames, it works. Very weird.

Joerg - what is the internal numbering of the PDFs...?
When they appear out of order, is it in order according to this sequence..?

HI Clive,
thanks for replying.
You are right, some of the PDFs have a internal number.
I've overlooked this. Annoying that the documentation does not mention that also internal numbering is honored.
Do you know how to get rid of the internal numbers?
Kind regards,
Jörg

OK, works with PitStop Server: Remove Metadata - Page labels
