HP Digital Front End JDF control V8 not working

My Workflow with HP Digital Front End JDF Control was working fine until I was recommended to upgrade to v8.

The configurator still makes a jdf but it still stops in the RIP.

"invalid RIPRunList" and Invalid FileSpec: File Path=(0) are the errors I get in the log-file.

Someone any idea's?

What's behind the Asset Location URL 'Multi-line text with variables defined'?

This is incorrect due to your Asset Location URL: file://Volumes/Jobs/Switch-DFE-Output-DECKS/[Job.NameProper].pdf

Your DFE needs access to the location to download the asset, and it can't access Volumes/Jobs because it does not exist. This is where your mac mounts the Jobs share.
Change it to FILE://hppro1-sm1/Jobs/Switch-DFE-Output-DECKS/[Job.NameProper].pdf, offcourse you have to change hppro1-sm1 to whatever your DFE is named.

By name of your DFE doe yu mean host name or mapped Devices?

Hostname of the server where your Jobs share lives

Does FILE:// need to be there?

That should do the trick, including FILE://

And please, do yourself a favour and rename your jobs before the JDF Configurator!

Strip spaces and stuff like that, can be a issue too!

After a full week of trial and error I regret deeply to have upgraded the configurator. Non of the WorkFlows can be used because the jdf file goes straight into the error-folder without any warning.
