Compare spot color in file with data from XML

Is there any way to compare the PMS colors contained in a submitted file against data supplied in an XML about the file? I would have thought it could be done with Smart Preflight, but I don't see a way to check the variable (submitted XML data) against the colors in the file.

What's in the XML, a spot color name or values for the alternate color space of the spot color?
