Delayed delivery in flow

Hi all,
I need to build some flows, that allow for delayed delivery of files.
Something like:
1. Job holds a date in it's metadata
2. Based on the route within the flow, the delivery of the file must be immediate, or delayed by a predefined value (n hours)
So I have a data from the jobs metadata, but I don't see any obvious mechanism to add a number of hours to the found date, to delay the delivery.
How could I set-up something like this? I hope scripting is not necessary, but it is possible if required.
