Is their a way with Switch to search within an excel for the name of a file and then rename the file with the data from the column next to the found cell?

If it's a CSV, you can use https://appstore.enfocus.com/product/csvlookup

Otherwise, I'd imagine you'd need a script to parse xls,xlsx files which can be rather difficult.
