Assemble Job and HP SmartStream error

Post by ERodgers »

Hey All, I'm trying to gangrun a group of files together to print on one sheet paper. First I had set up the flow with the HP SmartStream Design Ganging configurator. The error message I received was 0003Q_Faces_RIght Foot_Bottom-01.pdf is not a valid folder. I took this as I needed to have a folder go through SmartStream instead of individual files. So I set up an Assemble Jobs folder to group the PDFs into one folder before the SmartStream. That errored out as well with the message Job with prefix '0003Q' cannot be processed: required connection with id '13' is not available; probably the connection was removed after the job was assigned to it. There's also a red light after the Assemble Job and SmartStream. Can anyone point out what I'm doing wrong?

I know the output to the ganging configurator is a traffic light connection, and you need to have at least one connection coming out that carries types of Data. In the working flow I had I believe I set one connection coming out and set the "Carry jobs of this type" to "Data and Log".
