Variable Data - what are you using?

I have a potential project on my hands - many many thousands of pages of variable data.
Do any of you good people use products within Switch to flow them through to Digital presses?
I know there must be solutions - but not going down the full transactional route, I'd like to be able to take a PDF with fields defined in someway, merge a CSV (both delivered together), assemble the completed PDFs, and pass through my existing flow (so they marry up with EDI/JDF etc)
Any thoughts?

Just downloading the Demo version now - how well does this tie in with Switch - is it a case of dropping matching files and PDF in to a folder - or is there a fuller configurator to use?
I suspect many more questions to come my friend.

We have developed a configurator for PDF Constructor but haven't yet submitted to Enfocus. Contact me for details.

email sent Dwight, I shall play around with the CLI for now. I need to think of a quick and dirty solution to translate my xls or csv into xml. Loads of ways I know, just the least touch points I need...

We have also developed a 100% Switch Javascript solution for converting CSV to XML. Not a freebie however

You should check out HP Smartstream Designer for InDesign. It has a bunch of VDP functionality and you can create much more complex jobs within InDesign rather than just a PDF with forms. Configurators for Switch are available.
