I'm trying to split two different types of pdf files via hotfolder: the first kind was saved with editable 'illustrator data', the second ones without it.



Is it possible to detect the 'preserved illustrator compatibility' in pdf files with standard features of switch 11?

If yes: which variables I've to use or which keywords defines pdf files with illustrator data?

The data for "preserved Illustrator compatibility" is stored in what's called 'private data' in the PDF. Switch's Stat variables do not support this type of metadata.



Apago's PDFspy can be used to determine if a PDF has Illustrator edit data.
