Even though I have the InDesign configurator set to Yes, to link images, it does not and outputs a low res image when creating a pdf out of InDesign.



Has anyone come across this and is there a solution?

What are you submitting into the flow, an Indesign file or an Indesign package? It only works well with packages. They are folders with the Indesign file in it and subfolders with the fonts and the images, so Switch knows where to look for them.



If for some reason you cannot submit Indesign packages you will have to add an Indesign script in the "Command" property which will do the linking with the images by locating them in an automatic way (probably helped with a bit of direction in the parameters where the images might possibly be found). If your images are neatly organized on a centrally available file server that will not be too difficult, but if it is a mess, go for the package!
