unpack job losing hirarchy information?

Post by tz8 »

Hi,

when i move jobs from one switch server (Windows) to another Switch Server (Mac), both running Switch 11 update 3, the hirarchy information from the pack job on the windows side are not being used from the Mac switch. When i unpack the zip and check the InternalMetadata.xml file i see that the hierarchy information is present:

<HierarchyPath>05_03,indigo,_customer,Karten,236x166_Klappkarte,cb265m-white</HierarchyPath>

But when I'm trying to access hierarchy information in conditions or doing a simple "submit hierarchy" element with 99 possible subfolders all files are being sent to the root of the folder given.

And yes, the hierarchy information are properly working on the Windows side.

any hints?

needless to say: the "unpack job" element has "restore & replace" hierarchy information activated!

confirmed the error with Robert Zacherl from Impressed (bug even in update 4 beta as he says) who filed a bug report with Enfocus regarding this issue.

As a workaround: use any of the other 2 options (restore and place at top / restore and place at bottom) in order for it to work!

Cheers,

Thorsten
