is there a way to allow a multi-line text input like "special print instructions" as part of the metadata module?

no, just single line text field is available in SwitchClient

thank you - saves me a lot of time:) Is it something worth a feature request?

Anyone else needs this feature?

There should be all of the same field types as available in Switch itself.
