before I start to try coding it I would like to know whether there are any limitations regarding populating dropdown list with values fetched from an external txt file by a custom script. I do not have the database module and therefore I cannot access anything more structured.

but, although documentation tells that File class should work, I am not able to red a file on the Switch server.
