Pitstop Server Configurator - Concurrency

Post by ArielRauch »

Hi,

I have several flows that have several Pitstop interventions.

I noticed that jobs are waiting for the first to finish before progressing. I entered the Pitstop server console and got confirmed that indeed it is processing one at a time.

Please advice,

Check the number of concurrent processing setting in the PitStop Server preferences.

Then check the Switch Preferences (Processing). The maximum value that you can specify there depends on the performance module you have. The Core Module allows 4 concurrent processes. Note that these 4 are shared with other processes as well, so it may very well be that only 1 PitStop Server instance is running because the other 3 channels are taken up by other activities. It is impossible to predict what the exact behavior will be. If you want to test it, you should do that with nothing else running except a flow that only uses PitStop Server. I am sure you will see more than 1 job being processed by PitStop Server at the same time.
