Assemble job after n jobs or a certain time period

I have a flow that will receive PDFs over several days. I've set these to assemble into one job before being output to digital (this is currently 4 PDFs). The flow works fine.

What I'm now trying to do is add to the assemble function a time delay ie 4 files OR 180mins after receiving the first file.

The assemble flows to an error folder because Switch preferences are set to abort processing after 60mins.

How can I keep the preferences to 60mins (for all the other flows) but make the assemble function "hang" for 180mins before processing the PDFs?

Hope that makes sense.

Maybe I'm unclear, but it seems that this would give you what you're looking for:

Hi,

That's what I've got set. What appears to be happening because I've got the "Error Handling" preferences of Switch set to abort processes after 15mins is the files going into the error folder instead of waiting 180mins.

Have you changed the "Orphan Timeout" to something higher? Perhaps 181 minutes?

Completely missed the orphan timeout option.

I'll change that and see what happens.

Thanks

I wish all configurators had a timeout option so you could override some operations higher or lower than the global timeout. Would be nice!
